NCLA-blog
When we’re getting ready to hit the town, meet up for drinks or attend a posh soirée, we’re always checking that not only is our whole outfit on point, but so is our manicure.  Check and check.

With that said, it only made sense for us to team up with the hottest nail gurus in the business, NCLA.  We got together with our very chic friends there and started discussing how we could make this giveaway extra special.

Since ShoeDazzle and NCLA are both born and raised in the city of angels, Los Angeles, we decided that it was only appropriate to title this the “L.A. ‘It Girl’ Giveaway.  We wanted the looks to be ours and ours only so we called our very talented friend Natalie from Nail Swag to lend us her hands.  She helped us curate some amazing one-of-a-kind looks with the polishes and nail wraps.

With that said, we’re really excited to share these looks and styles with you and hope you love them just as much as loved creating them!  Whether you’re a Hollywood & Vine Starlet, a Malibu Beach Babe, a Beverly Hills Bunny or So LA, we’re pretty sure you won’t want to miss a chance to win!

We’re handing out 20 sets of NCLA polishes worth $200 and $100 of ShoeDazzle swag to go with it.  Ready to score some ultimate freebies?  We thought so.

Yesterday Glamour shared the perfect work outfit styled by fashion blogger Penny Chic. There’s something about an equestrian look, finished with a cowboy inspired pump that makes us want to just get up and going.

When the cooler months come upon us, it’s hard to part with summer basics. I find this to be especially true when it comes to footwear; and if you’re familiar with Southern California you know we love our sandals rain or shine. Although I’m personally wont to trade my slip-ons in for something a bit cozier when the weather gets crisp, I’m willing to add an extra layer for the sake of fashion. Luckily, sandals are sticking around with furry, sporty, and printed elements. If you can’t get your hands on that coveted furry sandal pictured above, try the sandal and sock combination. Whether you rock a heel or flat you’re going to get the best of the comfortable chic tomboy look and I’m not sure if it gets any better than that.

Bare shoulders made an appearance on streets around the globe during fashion week and I have to say I don’t mind this trend at all. The demure reveal highlights delicate collarbones while providing the perfect skin to fabric ratio for subtle sex appeal.  I particularly love the look on Australian rapper Iggy Azalea. Her Viktor Ralph dress actually forgoes exposed skin, but the contrast of the sheer and opaque  fabric work together to create the same effect. I can’t wait to test this trend out, after all I think my shoulders deserve some spotlight.

Full Skirt

Full skirts are on my radar. The genteel vibe that accompanies them brings a much needed feminine mystique to my closet full of minis and pencil skirts. Although they are known for their connection to the 50’s; they are quite versatile and are not limited to the girlish ensembles that were worn years ago. Full skirts look great with a modern edge, specifically menswear. A tailored blazer, letterman jacket, or sweatshirt adds necessary roughness without diminishing the ladylike panache of a low hemline.
