As the days get shorter, nights feel cooler and the leaves start to fall that can only mean one, fabulous thing: Boot season is coming. While it’s always difficult to say goodbye to summer, it’s never difficult to say hello to fall layers, stylish boots and pumpkin spice lattes. This upcoming season I’m looking forward to every head-turning design from ShoeDazzle’s Boot Shop and have already stocked up my closet with these five must-have styles.
Elevate Your Everyday
Switch up your everyday black or brown bootie for a neutral that will still go with everything while giving your outfit a little extra sumthin sumthin. The Lourdes bootie in olive is a perfect style to pair with your favorite pair of jeans and an oversized sweater for an effortless fall look. Add some edge to your street style by pairing a bralette and coat like I did for an unexpected take on autumn.
Studded Out
Bring a little rock n’ roll to your fall wardrobe with the Scheana bootie. I love how the gold studs add instant flair to the otherwise minimal design, creating the ideal bootie for late night concerts or weekend brunch dates. Try styling these with your favorite band t-shirt, black overalls and a long cardi this fall.
Go-To Grey
Make grey your new go-to with the Khyien heeled boot. We all need a staple pair of knee-high boots for fall and this classic design will literally go with ev-er-y-thing. From skinny jeans, leggings, tights and sweater dresses; these are your go-to boots for all things fall.
The Embroidery Trend
One of my favorite trends this season is embroidery. I’ve seen it on denim, leather jackets and now in these beautiful Isabela booties. The embroidered roses make an instant statement and add femininity to any look. Try them with a classic red dress for a subtle approach or with a mini skirt and bodysuit for a sultry night out.
Over-The-Knee
If there’s one tried and true way to add instant sex appeal to your fall style, it’s with over-the-knee boots. That’s especially true with the Mayra heeled boot and its velvety fabric and cut-out details. I love styling these with a t-shirt dress for a little peek-a-boo effect and over jeans for dramatic fall style.
