Meet our Monday Muse, Bethany Struble! She’s not your ordinary fashion blogger. This gal is a mom and jill of all trades. Keep reading to find out why we just can’t get enough.

How did you get your start in blogging?

My blog started out as just a photography blog and it slowly morphed into a personal style blog. I started about three years ago!

You’re a blogger, photographer, singer, and musician. What passion has your heart?

I’m passionate about all those things! I think music is closest to my heart, but photography is something I do every single day.

Can we listen to your songs on the internet or see you perform live?

I haven’t put any of my personal music on the internet. I’ve written some instrumentals and theme music with my dad for the American Music Awards and the Academy of Country Music Awards, so if you watch re-runs from years past, you can hear some of the music we did.

What music artists are on repeat for you right now?

Alt-J has been on repeat. It puts me in such a relaxed and chill mood for the day!

We want to know your beauty secrets! How do you maintain your gorgeous tresses?

My hair really just does what it wants and I sort of let it. I never use heat tools. I let it air dry with some moroccan oil most days.

After going to NYFW, what styles are you coveting the most?

For shoes, I can’t wait for some of the lace up heels I saw!

Any advice for other “Hot Mamas” pursuing fashion blogging?

I think blogging is an amazing thing that moms can do from home! Be creative and manage your time wisely! And don’t let being a mom make you dress down!

Finish the sentence: When I want to relax I_________________.

When I want to relax, I turn a movie on for my daughter and take a long bubble bath.

Meet Melanee Shale, a style blogger who defies labels and reps both the Big Apple and City of Angels. Get the scoop on who she gets inspiration from and how she maintains a flawless complexion below!

How would you describe your personal style?

It is hard to give my style an exact name since I try to be unique. I like to wear what makes me feel good and it also depends on how I’m feeling that day. But I would describe it as a mix of my two style icons, Nicole Richie and Olivia Palermo. They exemplify what I love about West and East coast fashion. Nicole Richie brings out my LA bohemian chic and Olivia Palermo brings out my New York edginess.

Who or where do you draw inspiration from?

My inspiration for style can be traced back to my mom. The confidence she exuded in her style choices made her the most beautiful women in the world to me. In fact, most of my vintage pieces I feature on my blog come from her closet. Nowadays, this confidence has led me down my own style evolution. For me, it’s important to remain individual and not look like everyone else. I am a born and bred Angeleno and that is what most of my style emulates. It’s inspired by the casual, easy, bohemian feel of living by the beach. However, having lived in New York for seven years, my style can also be inspired by the eclectic way New Yorkers dress. Lastly, I get truly inspired by reading fashion magazines and some of my favorite fashion blogs.

Which brands are you following during NYFW?

After seeing a couple shows this past week at NYFW, I have a new found love for Mara Hoffman and Tracy Reese. The prints and colors that both designers used were just truly amazing!

What trends are you looking forward to trying?

My style is usually subdued in neutrals so I’m definitely going to be trying more prints and bold color this upcoming season.

What’s your beauty regimen?

For beauty, my motto is if it works, why change it! The biggest compliment I receive about my makeup is my flawless complexion. I start with MAC Primer then use Estee Lauder foundation that gives the perfect amount of coverup. I always use NARS blush in Deep Throat, plus a bronzer to make my skin look sun-kissed. I add Lorac black liner on my upper and lower lid and I never ever forget mascara! For my lips, I literally use the limited edition Viva Glam MAC lipstick by Niki Minaj everyday! I thought I lost it during NYFW and almost cried. Luckily, I found it hidden in my bag. My friends know I could never part with it!

Finish the sentence: My fashion mantra is if you like it, wear it! Don’t worry about what others think. Also, when in doubt, throw a hat on it =)

Meet Jenny Wu, a stylish fashion lawyer and full time blogger at “Good, Bad, and Fab.” We’re quite obsessed with this style maven, and know you will be too!

How would you describe your personal style?

My personal style is very eclectic and reflects the diversity of LA’s neighborhoods and colorful subcultures. In just one outfit change, I can go from Venice boho to Beverly HIlls posh!

Who or where do you draw inspiration from?

I draw my inspiration from style blogs, magazines, pinterest, and the streets of LA.  I grew up in LA so  I can’t help but be influenced by its celebrity culture and count Kate Bosworth and Nicole Richie as two of my style favs.

What trends do you have to try before the summer season ends?

I’m bummed it’s August already and am in a mad rush to try out the “skort” trend and am working up the courage to rock a pair of statement making gladiators sandals.

Blogging isn’t your only experience in the world of fashion. What’s life like for a fashion lawyer?

Quite tame compared to fashion blogging! I draft contracts, negotiate licensing deals, and am involved in the enforcement of copyrights and trademarks. Basically, I take care of the behind the scenes work that keep the fashion wheels spinning.

Do you have any advice for students who want to pursue fashion law?

Get an internship at a law firm that represents fashion clients to get an idea of the industry and the work involved. Start networking early by attending industry mixers and events. Knowledge is power!

When you shop, how do you balance choosing clothes for work and leisure?

I don’t. I make sure everything I buy is versatile enough to wear to work and to play.

If you were to spill one beauty secret with us, what would it be?

M.A.C. Russian Red lipstick. It will change the way you see red lipstick and maybe even change your life.

Your blog name is “Good, Bad, and Fab” what are some good and/or bad experiences you have had with fashion over the years?

Since I’ve started my blog,  I’ve had so many good, great and fabulous experiences. Going to New York and Milan fashion week definitely are on the top of the list. Being the official Saks Fifth Avenue blogger is also up there. As for bad experiences, I think I tend to take on more than I can chew because I get so excited when new opportunities come up. So I end up trying to juggle a hundred projects at once which results in sleep deprivation. So yeah, unable to experience the joy of sleeping eights hours a night is a bad experience.

Finish the sentence. My fashion mantra is work, play, dress, and live fabulously!

How would you describe your style?

I don’t think I have a particular style; I like to dress depending on my mood. But I would say I gravitate towards colorful, feminine and fun pieces.

Where do you draw fashion inspiration from?

Pretty much everywhere, from the streets, movies, TV, magazines, designers, Internet, other fashion bloggers and even food!

Do you have any fashion rules that you live by?

Not really, I don’t like to follow rules ha,ha,ha.

What’s your go to piece to make a fashion statement?

Shoes, I live for my prosti shoes! The higher the heel the sexier I feel!

Do you have any beauty secrets you can share?

I never go to bed with makeup on, I wear SPF all the time and I drink a lot of water.

You spend a lot of time in New York City, what’s one thing we must do after getting off the plane?

Grab some pizza and go shopping 

When you’re not blogging we can find you on the small screen hosting segments for Univision and Telemundo. How did you get your start?
Not many people know this, but before I started my fashion/beauty blog I used to be a sports anchor, reporter, writer and radio host for multiple Spanish media outlets. I got a communications degree from USD and I’ve been doing TV for over 14 years! So, when I started blogging about fashion and beauty it was just a natural transition.

Your mantra is….

Live every day as if it were your last!
