ATW 8.15

Here’s a round up of our favorite looks around the web!

@Sazanbarzani pairs tribal accents with the Lorika.

@Luxuryspot gives Jeana all of the light.

@Hairbydanni pairs the Fallon with a babydoll frock for a cool summer time look.

@Hautepinkpretty gets ethereal in the Bassa while observing the cosmos  at the Griffith Observatory.

Aint’t life sweet? We think so and @Swellmayde does too while wearing the Sorina.

Stylist @Orlyshani warms up her muted outfit with a floral jacket and yellow Jeanna’s.

More than what we’re sipping, the best part of having a drink with friends is the get-together. The wine we have and the spirits we savor are second to the stories we tell and the laughter we share. But we can still enjoy a little drink here and there, so here’s our take on everyone’s favorite social drink: the sangria. Make a batch and toast to your time together!

More to love: new arrivals for a night out are here.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

1 750 ml bottle of white wine (Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, etc.)
1 orange sliced into wedges
1 lemon sliced into wedges
1 fresh pineapple diced into 1-inch chunks
1/4 cup of sugar
4 cups of ginger ale or lemon lime soda
1/2 cup of coconut rum
1 bunch of fresh mint leaves

HOW TO MAKE

Pour wine into a large pitcher, squeeze in the juice from the lemon and orange wedges (don’t discard wedges), add sugar, and stir. Toss in fruit wedges (removing seeds) and pineapple, then chill overnight.

Add soda, rum, and ice to pitcher just before serving. Muddle clean mint leaves into each serving glass and pour sangria over leaves. Enjoy.

Leo 8.6

After I agreed to write this blog, I realized I had no dazzlin’ idea why we love Leos. Don’t get me wrong; I do like them, but why? Maybe it’s because Sandra B and Halle B both are both lionesses. Maybe, as a child, I had pretended to like Leo’s just to get invited to their birthday pool parties.

I’m sure both explanations are partially correct, but I still needed some help from a pro. That’s why I met up with my astrologer, Brian, to get the Leo lowdown over margaritas.

According to Brian, Leos are loved for their ability to get things done, whether that be fame or pool parties. That talent stems from unwavering confidence, and THAT is what draws people to Leos.

Where would the world be without Leos who rock our highest, wildest heels without battling eye!

July aka National Blueberry Month is almost over, but not without one last hurrah! Blueberries and lemonade have always been high on our list of refreshing treats, but we found a new love when we teamed them up with a little bit of vodka. Light, sweet, and slightly tart; you’ll want to savor summer with each sip.

The blue crew: Trista, Sammy, and Loyita.

It isn’t summer without at least one road trip with friends! To get the good times rolling on that long drive, we put together a playlist of songs that you can jam to, no matter the destination. Enjoy the ride!
