The holidays are right around the corner and we are loving everyone’s shoe game! We round up a few of our favorites from the week and couldn’t wait to share what everyone was wearing.

1.  Melanie Pace shows off her very red carpet worthy pumps: the Alycias

2.  Laura Lily is ready to tackle all of her holiday shopping in style with the Yvonna heels and Beatrice pumps

3.  Orly Shani shows us how to have fun in the Princessas this season and last, but not least

4.  Blake Von D shows us how to do rocker chic right in the Jaxxis

And in a blink of an eye, we find ourselves in December. We hope everybody had an amazing Thanksgiving! But every year, we always find it so amusing to come back from break, just to find that there’s only so much of the year left. So let’s make the most of it: while it’s sad that 2014 will be coming to a close, let’s get excited of what’s left and what’s to come! New playlist up: this one sounds GREAT on repeat. ;)

I’ve never really been one to take things seriously.

“Wow, you’re getting married; will there be an open bar? Aww, you’re having a baby; wanna make it famous on YouTube? Cheers to your new job; now who’m I gonna party with on weeknights?

Sometimes, however, things get seriously serious and really real. What? I can be serious at times… watch me,

A few weeks ago, I was introduced to Bailey, an adorable 8-year-old undergoing treatment for a kidney tumor at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Her cancer was diagnosed in 2012, which, coincidently, is the same year doctors found a malignant tumor in my brain. [Oh that’s where he went]

I know every victim’s fight is different, but it’s safe to say that what we endure is scary and painful—to us and our loved ones. It’s so physically and emotionally demanding that, as an adult, I couldn’t begin to imagine how kids could handle it… until I started treatment at a children’s hospital in Chicago.

I expected the kids there to be sad and quiet, but, like Bailey, they were full of life and energy. They ended up inspiring me to laugh and smile through this battle. They taught me to absorb and share positivity from people around me: my mom, hospital staff, taxi drivers, my extended family, my co-workers, my friends, my co-workers’ friends, total strangers…

And that’s where you come in, stranger.

St. Jude is not only committed to continue its research to fight this nasty disease, but to treat the children affected without ever having them see a bill. Because of this, Bailey and the other young patients of St. Jude receive the treatment they need – for free. So we’ve teamed up with the lovely Ashley Tisdale to help spread the word about childhood cancer and the inspiring work St. Jude is doing to help these deserving kids.

What can you do?

Obvi’ ShoeDazzle will make a donation and we want to share our stories so you can help be part of this fight. We all agreed that it is equally important to encourage more people to send positivity to some anonymously awesome kids they don’t even know. Energy, thoughts, vibes, prayers, wishes, whatever…they all trickle down to those who need them. I’m living proof that it helps; I def’ didn’t pull this one off solo.

Seriously,
Richy T.

Pardon us.

We just dropped some beats.

Something about fall brings out the best in music, and we’re here to share what we’ve been listening to. This week’s list is collection of mixed media, featuring dancey hits, chilled-out grooves, and entrancing vocals. Check it out and add these to your own personal playlist!

Sazerac & Sanya: this week’s cocktail was pretty much chosen for how good it would look next to one of current faves, Sanya. This American original was also chosen for its sophisticated flavors, which when paired with Sanya’s luxurious gold accents, makes it easy for anybody to feel like a VIP. Give it a try and release the sexy socialite in you!

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

2 ounces rye whiskey
1/2 ounce of simple syrup
1/4 ounce of absinthe
2 dashes of Peychaud’s Bitters
Lemon peel to garnish

HOW TO MAKE

Fill an old fashioned glass with ice and set aside to chill. In a separate mixing glass, add a few ice cubes, rye whiskey, simple syrup, and Peychaud’s Bitters and stir.

Discard the ice from the old fashioned glass. Pour the absinthe in and turn the glass until the inside of the glass is well coated; discard excess liquid.

Strain the rye mixture into the old fashioned glass discarding the ice, rub a lemon peel around the rim, and enjoy!

Life is better when there’s love involved! Autumn has dawned and we’re letting ourselves fall in love with the little things; the turning color of leaves, the cool drop in temperature, and a daily dose or two of delicious pumpkin spice lattes. But most of all, we absolutely LOVE that it’s boot season. So here are some tunes to enjoy as you strut your stuff in your favorite fall boots.

We’ve all waited long enough for it, so let’s celebrate boot season!
