You know Cinco de Mayo is almost here when you start going through your closet, reading articles and surfing your favorite brands online, in search of the perfect outfit. I have to admit, finding the “it” look for this colorful holiday could be in fact, pretty confusing and stressful. You want to look festive but you also don’t want to look like a moving piñata.
My style is fairly simple and for my Margarita-infused night out, I decided to pick a simple off-white-lace, off the shoulder dress. Plus…at this time of the year, the weather at night permits showing off some shoulder action. The fun part begins with picking the shoes; this is where you can go any way you want. Wedges, embellished sandals, high heeled sandals, oh my! The choice is yours, as long as you consider that the fiesta is going to last all night long and so will the dancing.
A personal favorite and my Cinco de Mayo 2015 pick is the Aleeza sandal. Not only are the colors vibrant but the shoe is beyond comfortable. The front elastic strap allows your foot to move freely, which of course is crucial while shaking the maracas (literally)! Whether you decide to rock a skirt or boyfriend jeans—this shoe is a show stopper.
