What you’ll need:

1 cup rice

¾ cup blanched almonds

1 ½ cinnamon sticks

¼ cup condensed milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup dark rum

cinnamon for garnish

What to do:

Soak the rice, almonds, and cinnamon sticks overnight in 4 cups hot water. The next morning, pour the soaked ingredients and liquid into a blender and blend until smooth. This could take up to 5 minutes. Strain the mixture into your favorite pitcher with a strainer. Add the condensed milk and vanilla and stir. Add the rum. Mix well, and serve over ice. Garnish with ground cinnamon and enjoy!
