This one goes out to all our college grads. You did it! We here at The Dazzle are very proud of you. Personally I’m also terrified for you. Why? Because once you leave campus life, it gets weird. I’m not saying that because I want to scare you but because I wish someone had warned me. For example, in the real world, if you can’t sleep at 3 a.m., you can’t just go downstairs and play pool with a dozen peers in their p.j.s. No one is ever awake anymore because they all have to work in the morning.Crazy, I know.
Suddenly, you face an entirely new set of expectations. Everyone expects you to land a job, keep that job, stop shopping at Abercrombie & Fitch, and refrain from celebrating Messed-Up Mondays, Toasted Tuesdays, Wasted Wednesdays, and even Thirsty Thursdays. It’s a lot to handle.
With Dad Day and Grad Day occupying the same month, you may feel pressure to unveil a more mature version of yourself at the next family/friend function. Just so we’re clear, I’m not suggesting that you be mature, but rather that you dress the part. Daddy’s angel now has wings. This is your chance to publicize your accomplishment. It’s a social media blitz, and I call it The Grown and Sexy Tour. It stars you, Lexa, and Dylan.
Mature and responsible adults buy neutral basics because they’re practical and they go with everything.
Secretly, we know they accentuate your legs when you’re wearing the shortest, tightest skirt you could possibly find at Forever21.
