It’s finally sandal season and I’m loving it! With so many styles to choose from, my shoe closet is getting bigger every day. I refuse to look at my bank statements. But can you blame me?! There are so many fun trends this year.
To make it a little less overwhelming for you, I chose one of each style sandal: flat, heeled and wedged. The outfits are all totally different, but each one is ready for some fun in the sun in its own unique way!
THE FLAT SANDAL
Bohemian style is SO in right now. It’s the perfect trend for the warm weather as it tends to call for light, flowy outfits and skin-baring styles. The boho trend is also typically seen in more casual settings, which is why I chose it for my flat sandal outfit.
The Kyrie sandal was an obvious choice with its braided straps and wrapped ankle, as was the Cold Shoulder Tie Dye Top with its hint of skin and cool tie dye print. To really make the blue pop, I chose the white Distressed Skinny Ankle Grazer. I pulled the whole look together with the fringe-embellished Tripp bag.
THE WEDGE SANDAL
I kind of love how versatile the Cami Maxi Chambray Dress is! In general, maxi dresses are my go-to during spring and summer because they make you look seriously chic, effortlessly.
To elevate the look of this one a bit, I styled it with the studded Yesenia wedge and then pulled the look together with some cute pineapple jewelry and the Gus satchel bag.
THE HEELED SANDAL
This was definitely my favorite outfit of the three! The super-sexy Open Back Romper is so flirty and fun, especially in this vibrant red. When paired with a heeled sandal, it’s the perfect going out piece for warm nights.
Since sunny seasons are all about the colors, I went for the Lynda heeled sandal in yellow. Her fringe detailing is so on trend and she does a great job of balancing out the look-at-me style of the romper. Of course, no outfit is complete without the right handbag. For this look, I went for the colorblocked Moses bag.
You really can’t go wrong with any of these options! They’re all so chic and trendy in their own way.
